Batch Determination in COGI

Hello Experts,

I meet a issue in batch determination when do COGI: for some coponents, I just select the components line and post, the batch is automatically determined, for some other components, I need to click into details screen and mark that line, then click button "batch determination" into another screen and copy the batch manually, but actually, all those components are in the same storage location and have the same settings.

Is that material is batch managed?

Are u using classification for batch selection.?

Check batch determination in IM--> have u included class in strategy or u can select batch manually.

Check whether u have material in stock?

Yes, I marked "Batch Management" in Material Master Purchase view

Are u using classification for batch selection.?

Yes, I created classfication view in Class type 022 for this material

Check batch determination in IM--> have u included class in strategy or u can select batch manually.

I maintained the batch search strategy for key combination (Plant/Order type)

I can select batch manually

Check whether u have material in stock?

Yes we have material in stock with batches.

Do u have same characteristics for other materials also on which u r making batch determination?

Do u want to issue material to order?

it is better to have control by plant..

check for order type

Can you check the material master classification view whether Batch classification has assigned or not.

Thanks for your reply, I already created the classfication view and set the class type 022.
