Hello everyone!
What should the bank number (Field: BNKLZ) in the bank details (Table: BNKA) contain?
Thank you!
BNKLZ it contains the bank key no ..
example if you an icci bank acoount the first 4 digits are bank key no with that bank persons can identify ..... your accoutn belongs to which barnch of icici in all devisions .....
like that in the SAP Vendor or Customer CREATION ... IF THEY HAVE BANK ACCOUNTS then you can fill it with the bank key .. it is not mandartory for any account .... because the account number itself first 4 digits will hold it .
reward points if it is usefull ...

Bank Number can be the local identification of the bank. I think this is dependent on the country.
This can be different from the SWIFT code.
In the Philippines, this is called the Sort Code.

Bank Number is a mandatory field but with no check tables because this is some thing provided by the goverment and the same number is stored in BNKA.
Whosoever your client is they have this list with them, otherwise you have to Check with IRS(For USA).
