BAdI: how to know what they are for without dev knowledge?

Dear community,

Points will be awarded to the best answer. Context: I'm a functional PP and QM SAP S/4 functional consultant, I do not know anything about code/ABAP.

Question: How to know what BAdI is best in the SE38 tcode for any requirement? I know where to find them, but how can I start understanding them as a functional consultant without coding expertise?

Challenge: Utilizing the newest Fiori Extensibility for Custom Logic would be awesome, but I'm limited until I figure out how to find the proper BAdI.

Hi Luis,

This answer is for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition as you can't use transaction SE38 in public cloud.

If you use the Fiori app "Custom Logic" the system will show you all available BAdlns.

Click on "Create"

You can now see all available

Then you can click on the "View documentation"  to see how you can use it

I provided below the example of "Production Version Proposal"
