dear all hi,

I have 10 components in a bom & while assigning these components in routing operations i have maintained backflushing tick, but when i create production order, the system is displaying bf indicator for only 3 components.

I have checked mat master & workcenter, in these it is not maintained, i want to control from routing operation level & more over it is displaying for 3 comps but not for others, please help how to make it for all comps in prd ord.

thanks in advance

Hi,

For the Backfluh to be active for the components, it can be set in Material Master (Always backflush indicator), Rouring Componet assignment and in Production Order.

In the W/C Backflush indicator will control if you maintain in the Material Master, Backfluh will be controlled by W/c.

If you want all the components to be backflushed every time then in OPK4, maintain the Tick for "All Components" for your order Type and Plant Combination.

But one thing is if you maintain in the Routing, component allcation screen Backflush will be available in the Production Order. hence Check once again in the Routing component details.

Hope this helps..

Hi Shaiz,

If u have maintained BF indicator at Routing same should be copied to Production Order.

Please Verify same Group counter & BOM has been copied to production Order. Check the Master data tab at Order Header Overview.(Co03)

Hi,

There is no clue why it is happening in your case...

But one thing, if the component is Bulk Material then the Backflushing indicator will be greayed Out.

Siva

HI,

If some of your components are mark as Co-Product in that case also Backflush indicator will not work.

Dear all,

no components are marked as bulk & its the same bom & routing that is getting copied.

Hi Shaiz,

I am not getting any clue. Use " PP Read Master Data" at Production order.

Please check with below points,

Item categoty ,Movement allowed indiactor , Movement type at Component overview of Production Order.

Please check the storage locations...whether these are mantained correctly in MRP2 view in prod issue sto loc field. Also check whether the stocks are available for these parts.
