B1 2005 SP01 PL04 - datatable.ExecuteQuery method fails

Hi all,

someone can help me to understand why this fails:

oQry.executequery('UPDATE [@mytable] SET ... WHERE...')

where oQry is SAPBouiCom.DataTable type;

the same query and the same method run on B1 2005 SP00 PL07.

Thanks in advance.

There's a know bug in the ExecuteQuery for SP01 PL04 (And PL02 and PL03)... I simply doesn't work... I've logged a message about it, and the reply was to be fixed in a future patch... Hopefully PL05...

There a workaround out from SAP

**

The workaround until it is fixed would be:

1) to disconnect the DataTable from the Grid:

oGrid.DataTable = Nothing

2) run the query

3) reconnect again + e.g. set collapse level etc.

oGrid.DataTable = oForm.DataSources.DataTables.Item(0)

***

Haven't try that workaround myself... What I did was to load the data into a recordset and manually filled out the DT... That work, but a lot more work...
