For PR creation sytem does not use any checking rule. Sytem uses availability checking rule in MRP before PR creation . After this availability check, if any shortage exists only then system creates PR if the material is externally procured. Therefore the availability checking rule comes to picture before the PR creation.

Hi,

There is no configuration to consider or not consider the existing PR and PO's.

Computing PR is an internal program.

OPJJ is only for availability check.

Hi,

OPJJ only for availability check. System will do availability check with this configuration only.

But planning or procurement proposal trigger only by net requirement calculation.

Hi,

Availability check & checking rule is not functioning to create PR.

To create PR, system do net requirement calculation.

Hi,

Hope the checking rule you are asking is while creating PR through MRP run

Sys performs net requirement claculation

The system checks whether it is possible to cover requirements with the plant stock and fixed receipts(GR) already planned. In the case of a shortage the system creates a procurement proposal.
