Availability check

Hi Experts,

Can anyone give details as to what happens when we check the Material availability check in the config as per path below for Say Order create or for Order Release

Maintenance and Service Orders>Functions and Settings for Order Types>Availability Check for Material, PRTs, and Capacities-->Define Inspection Control

if you attach materials in the order it checks for the availability either when you create the order or when you release the order.

Hi,

If you refer the help mentioned against individual options under the config option, you will get clear picture. Every check either on Checking Rule, component check type and creation control (which is of more importance to PP) has got different functionality. Listing all of them won't be good here.

Every option makes a difference the way SAP checks in background.
