ATC Check variant for SAP S/4HANA 2021 in SAP_BASIS 7.40

Hello,

I don't think that's possible but I am asking the question in case I missed a point.

We have a ECC system based on SAP_BASIS 740 SP12, we want to use the transaction ATC available in our system to perform custom code checks prior to a system conversion to S/4HANA.

Is this possible to bring the check variants for S/4HANA in our system or do we have to set up a new standalone NetWeaver system in SAP_BASIS 752 and perform remote checks ?

Hello,

you can check your SAP_BASIS 740 SP12 system only remotely for SAP S/4HANA readiness using the central ATC check system on the >= SAP_BASIS 7.51/7.52 release.

It was what I thought, thank you Olga for your answer. We will set up a new NW 7.52 system to check remotely the NW 7.40 systems.

I have a question which is not related to this topic.. Are there any restrictions on on-prem S/4hana 2021 to operate with other ABAP NW 7.40 systems for example Integrations like EWM 9.3 running on ABAP 7.40 and CRM 6.0 EPH3 on ABAP NW 7.40 ?

Hello Sanket,

what do you mean with "operate with"? S/4HANA 2021 (ABAP Platform 2021/AS ABAP 7.56) and EWM or CRM (AS ABAP 7.40) are separate systems.
