Hi Experts, I have a situation where an active employee line manager reporting position is vacant. Should I assign this employee position reporting to second level line manager whose position is presently occupied. Please advise best practice and impacts to workflows. Thanks in advance. I think you have to assign to the second level of manager otherwise if you are using the workflows which checks for the relationship(A/B 002) then system will throw an error in case if relationship doesn't exist.
In this case i suggest you to maintain the relationship for the employee with the second level of manager which solve the issue and also if the first level manager position is occupied in the future you can delimit the previous relationship with the second level manager and create a new one.
