Asset creation

Hi All,

when I create a asset master data I get a error "number ranges 03 not in number allocation range" How can I fix it?

Hi,

Check settings for Number Range in AS08 for the Company Code and also in OAOA for the Asset Class to which the asset pertains to.

For creation of asset

1. asset class must be created

2. No ranges han been defined in AS08

3.selct the no for that u have to define no range intervals

Ex .01 land

02 Bulding

03 Plant and machinary

for no ranges 03 fromno 3001 tono 3999

ur creating asset master without defineing no ranges

because of that the eror is coming
