Assembly Scrap

I am maintaing assembly scrap % for an assembly.Whenever I am Creating Order It increases order qty based on assembly % maintained in material master.But at the time of GR also once again it incraeses qty for assembly scrap %.How to solve this issue.

Eg:

Order Qty : 100

Assembly Scrap %: 10

Chnaged Order Qty : 110

GR propoded Qty : 121

Hi,

Idea of Asembly scrap means system will assume that when you are producing 100 nos there is a possibility that 10nos (10%) will get scraped, hence system will automatically increse the you entered qty of 100 nos to 110 nos and it also shown the AScrap qty as 10 nos which you can see in the Production order general screen right side of the order qty.

System will allow you to confirm and Goods Recipts upto 110 nos only and not 121 nos. Ithink you might have maintained over delivery tolernace in material Master. Check and remove it .

I hope you are doing GR using MIGO for 101 movement,if so enter the order quantity as 100,so that it's

proposing for 110.I guess instead of 100 you are mentioning 110..

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If so please tell me the procedure of doing GR.

Hi Mangal,

I am doing GR in MB31 only.In order craetion itself system increases order qty to 110. All operations I am doing for 110 qty only(CO11N),when I doing MB31-101 it proposes 121 qty(10 % of confirmed 110 qty).I dont want to do auto GR.

Hi,

Ensure that net indicator is activated. This in turn ensures that the compt. operation scrap is calculated without taking into assembly scrap.
