I really in doubt of connection to the logon to the S/4HANA system in S/4HANA Cloud, private edition as a partner:

1 - over a VPN tunnel that will be setup between partner and S/4HANA cloud.

2 - over the internet using an URL provided by the SAP team.

3 - over a VPN tunnel that will be setup between customer and S/4HANA cloud.

4 - over a dial in connection. The phone number will be provided by the SAP team.

5 -over a dedicated connection, like Azure ExpressRoute, between customer and S/4HANA cloud.
