Hi,

It is advisable not to run payroll for past months, SAP provides a standard sub schema (INLK) to upload data till date.

Hi,

Thanx for your response, that i know a little bit that for Mid Year Life we have to do customization

Legacy data transfer

legacy data import

Pay elements import

and Schema as u said INLK, but my query is for calculation of arrear, will we have to upload payroll result from April 2009 .

Please provide your inputs.

hi,

As far as calculation of arrears is concerned you can use the earliest master data change field of IT 0003.

Hi,

When you create the payroll control record, there is a field for earliest retro accounting period, in this field you can specify as 01-2009. You also need to modify schema's IN 41/42/43 to capture data regarding calculation of arrears. Hope this hepls.

Thanx once again,

As u said we need to set 01-2009 in earliest retro accounting period and modify the schema's IN 41 to 43. Do we also need to set the date 01-2009 of following records (infotypes) (for Mid year go-live and arrear calculation) :

u2022 Planned Working Timeinfotype (0007)

u2022 Basic Pay infotype (0008)

u2022 Bank Details infotype (0009)

u2022 Family/ Related Personinfotype (0021)

u2022 Previous Employment Tax Details infotype (0580)

u2022 Housing (HRA/CLA/COA) infotype (0581)

u2022 Exemptions infotype (0582)

u2022 Car & Conveyanceinfotype (0583)

u2022 Income from Other Sources infotype (0584)

u2022 Section 80 Deductionsinfotype (0585)

u2022 Investment Details (Sec 88) infotype (0586)

u2022 Provident Fund Contribution infotype (0587)

u2022 Other Statutory Deductions infotype (0588)

u2022 Individual Reimbursements infotype (0589)

Hi,

No You need not set the dates, but you need to specify which wagetypes need to be factored for retroactive calculations. You can see the detailed explanation of the earliest retroactive accounting date in f1 help of IT 0003

Hi,

Since the go live in Jan 2011and arrears would be calculated from 04/2009.

Process :

Upload the previous payroll result from April 2009 (Legacy data transfer, legacy data import, Pay elements import & schema INLK)

Assigned the date 01-2009 in earliest retroactive data (IT. 0003),

Create an arrear wage type (example AR01)

Now can you help me out the further process....

Modify PCRs. IN41 / 42 / 43 & 44
