Good morning,
We are looking to implement SBO in Argentina and there's no localisation available.
The legal requirements for taxes are quite complexes :
- IVA (normal VAT)
- Perception (VAT % depending on the location : comparable to canda, states...)
- Retention (Tax on payment)
Looking to SAP localisation list there's nothing about Argentina even no recommandation about the localisation that could be used. I remember it was in the list some years ago. Does anyone experienced implementation in Argentina or knows what would be the best localisation
Regards,
Dear Mr Viviant,
Unfortunately SAP Business One has no localization for Argentina. SAP is working in a add-on for the GAP between the Chilean Localization and the Argentinean legal requirements but up today we don´t know when SAP is going to lunch SAP Business One in Argentina.
When I have some new about Argentinean SAP Business One Lunch Iu2019m going to contact you.
Kind regards.

Good Morning Mr Janenson,
thank you for your response.
We plan to go live in January 2010 so we will have to develop internaly a solution to feel the gaps with one of the localisation. According to what you said we should use the Chilean Localisation as basis of the implementation taking in consideration that an add-on will be available in the futur.
We know some customers using SBO in Argentina and we will contact them to know how they solved the VAT issues. Do you have an idea of the number of SAP implementation in Argentina?.
An other important point is that we need fixed assets. It is not available with the SUR localisations. Do you know what people are doing usualy doing in the region. Are they using standard products of the market interfaced with SAP, is there partner add-ons...
Best Regards,
Arnaud VIVIANT
Dear Mr. VIVIANT,
Unfortunately the Business One Customers doesnu2019t report his implementations in argentina to SAP but I know only 2 cases and either of this has no success, because the Argentinean complex.
About fixed assents, some partners has add.ons to solve this problematic. In Bolivia you can contact Addvisory Group, they have a good fixed assent add.on. the contact person is Ricardo Marusic, www.addvisorygroup.com, he is the sales director, he can answer all your questions.
Kind Regards.
