I got a question on archiving. If we are archiving application data for SD - SD_VBAK, SD_VBRK etc....and if the data being archived has attachments(external attachments and BRF+ outputs), even if we select "archive attachments" the actual attachment that is stored in DB/Content Server/Filesystem/External storage like Sharepoint/AzureBlob is not actually getting deleted. I mean data is getting archived and data from output is getting convered to RAW data, data is getting deleted from SAP tables and archived to whichever location we set it up as. Is this normal in SAP that SAP standard archiving doesn't actually delete the attachments/outputs created thus leaving them as zombies because the link information in DMS is deleted so one cannot know which business object this attachment belongs to. Can you throw some light on how you managed this situation. This way all attachments are left as zombies for all the data that is archived and this seems like a big issue. I don't know how else to analyse this further
