SAP systems can work with many languages and character sets, but there may be restrictions. The "Ñ" character, common in Western European languages like Spanish, may not be supported in your SAP system's configuration or there could be a system bug. I did not found any specific SAP note for this issue in Mexico.
The best will be to open a support incident for help.
