Hi everyone,
I have a requirement where we need to allow employees to both book absence and record attendance on the same day. For example, if an employee takes an absence on 06/09/2024 and their manager approves it, they should still be able to work on the same day and enter their worked hours in case of an emergency.
Does anyone have experience with this scenario or any suggestions on how to implement this in SAP SuccessFactors?

longterm we plan to enhance our collision handling possibilities.
But for now - as I see from your request that this is not kind of standard process, but only in emergency cases: you can use a time type of category "extra". This can be recorded in parallel to each and anything. For time valuations you need just to assign this time type to your normal working time buckets.
