Actual work difference

I am getting different Actual work of sam activity in CN48N and CN23.

Please explain me.

Hi Suresh,

If you have done any confirmation on Network Activity then CN48N is the report where as if you want to see the basic master data of network activity then CN23 is the transaction code.

What is the confusion then.? Just check if you have done any confirmation against your network activity.?

If possible, send some screen shots also.

Hi Amit,

I have done confirmation for that activity and again cancelled the same confirmation.

But, the system is showing  actual work as10 in CN23 and 0 in CN48N, it should be zero in both the cases.

Hi Suresh,

I think system behavior is correct. When you have done the cancellation, i believe that you have now got one more line item in CN48N. Isn't it.?

Please send the screen shot of CN23 as well along with CN48N. I am sure that you are having confusion with work involved in the activity which is showing in your CN23. Please read the help by pressing f1 on CN23 work field where your work for activity is getting displayed.

You should run the robot to transform hours in cost. If it is set to run periodically then you need to wait till it will run. If it run manually, then please run it and then check CN23.

Hi Amit,

As I said, earlier, first i confirmed the activty, again cancelled the activity. I got one more line item.

That is one line item with - 1 and another with +1. so if I do summation in CN48N, then it is zero.

But now, in CN23 the actual work is showing as 1, but it should show me zero. And for this line in CN23 the system status is REL.

Hi Suresh,

I think that CN23 will remain as it is. Probably, it is showing as 1 because you have given the information like 1 in work field with any of its unit of work like day, hour etc etc. Still, I believe that system behavior is correct and if you want to see changes as 0 in CN23 then you need to manually put the value as 0 instead of 1 through CN22.

Otherwise, you can try reports as suggested by Sudhakar.

Hi,

Did you check at table level. check in AFRU, CATSDB and CATSPS and confirm what it display there.

You can raise OSS to SAP for not displaying the correct value in CN23 as you feel. but stop looking into transactions rather check for reports.

Hi,

Your question is valid one and i never checked tac CN23 to see the actial work on network activities.

If you are looking for actual hours posted on NWA, the appropiate reports are CN47N and CN48N, CN41N where you will see the actual hours. if you extend your search beyond these transactions, look out for CJI3 where you will see the confirmed hours as well costs also. There are so many reports to see.

I suggest you instead of looking in CN23, try at other reports.

Cn48n is the report and cn23 is the transaction for display network and it's activity if any align. so what to know whether you have glance this thing, Could you share some screenshot for the same?

In CN23 network header, at the end we have actual work column, there it is showing 10

In CN48N, if i select a particular activity say, activty 0020 and execute the report, and apply summation to the actual work column it is showing me zero.

Check whether activity has confirm if confirm then how many % has confirm like fully or partially?
