Activity Type ISO Code

Hello,

We want to upload template via migration cockpit for activity types. In the template there is header information for Activity Unit(ISO Format). We tried to choose H (Hours) and ISO Format is HUR. And when we choose for Activity Unit(ISO Format) there is only HUR unit corresponding to hour unit and there is another activity unit for hours that is HR (Hours). We have filled with HUR ISO Code in the template but system considered as HR (Hours) not H (Hours). We would like to select the unit hour as in H instead of HUR to avoid confusion. Is there any way to do this with template and what is the difference between H (Hours) and HR (Hours).

let me give you an answer to the first part of your question.

The migration template will migrate hours as HR because it is facilitating the ISO Code HUR which is mapped against both units of measurement (H and HR) and HR is marked as primary code in configuration for units of measurement. Configuration for SAP delivered units of measurement is not editable in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Besides manually updating after migration you could check if API Activity Type (A2X) would suffice your needs (Overview | Activity Type (A2X) | SAP Business Accelerator Hub). You could also create a customer influence request for adjusting the migration template: Customer Influence | SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Data Management and Data Migration.
