Accrual movement type on gl accounts

Dear all,

Prerequisites:

- Our customer is in the the construction industry running building projects. 

- my customer would like to manually post accruals using movement types to create a accrual history sheet.

Where can I find accrual movement types and can I make them a mandatory field on the gl account?

Hi Roscho,

I would review the following Scope Items in detail to see if the functionality included would support your customer’s requirement:

• Purchase Order Accruals (2VB)
• Service Entry Sheet Based Accruals (63L) 

I’m adding the links to the US 2402 version (current as of May 2024). Please remember to update to the latest version (if there is one available) and your country.

In addition to the evaluation of those scope items I strongly suggest to evaluate the scope item Project Control – Capital Projects (35F) The processes included in this scope item help our customers to manage Capital Projects, including the link to the Purchase Order processing and settlement into Assets Under Construction (AuC) and Final Assets.
