Accrual field in Condition Type vs Statistical field in Pricing Procedure

Hello All,

there is an "Accrual" field in Control Data 2 area of condition type maintenance (V/06). from the help documentation, I understand that if it is ticked, the condition value will not get added to the net value of the item but will get posted to an Accrual account. so for this, will it be mandatory to assign an "Accrual key" in the pricing procedure?

Again, there is a "Statistical" field in the pricing procedure maintenance. if this field is ticked, then also the value of condition type is not added to the net value. so what is the difference between this field and 'Accrual" field in V/06?

Thanks,

Abhinav

Had you tested in your system for this query, you would have come to know

  • Statistical  -  FI postings cannot be made
  • Accrual      -  FI postings can be made

Coming to your another query

will it be mandatory to assign an "Accrual key" in the pricing procedure?

yes you need to assign
