absence quota transfer

Dear All,

We are using RPTQTA for generating absence quota. And annual leave quota 35. Now we are planning to introduce new leave type called " Emergency Leave" .

Requirement as follows ....

If an employee can take emergency leave only after completing all the annual leave balance and  number of emergency leave availed this year should deduct from next year Annual Leave quota.

Please advice how we can achieve the same.

Dear Oru Samshaya Rogi,


Let me tell you what I've understood you do have 2 quotas


One is for Annual leave quota

Second one is for emergency leave quota


So whenever if you will apply leaves from either annual leave quota or emergency leave quota, those leaves has to be deducted from annual leave quota. Once annual leave quota is over then emergency quota has to be deducted rit ?


If it's so SAP standard will support by creating 2 quotas and two counting.




Then maintain this counting rule into absence type.


If still do you have any doubts kindly let us know...!


Note: But If this year leaves will be deducted into nest year annual leave quota i hope this one is custom SAP standard won't support, It's better to go with either abaper or PCR.

Yes this year Emergency leave should deduct from next year Annual Leave. How I can use PCR? Quota generation I am using RPTQTA00 Program.

Dear ,

I haven't written any PCR for this scenario & as per my knowledge we don't have any config steps for this scenario but you can do one thing,

1. Extract emergency leaves into excel sheet through SE16 --> PA2006

2. Make it one LSMW for uploading IT 2006 sub type Annual leave quota.

Or

Ask abaper he can write program..
