Hi Colleagues,

I have the following legal change requirements to implement:

The system shall consider the following public sector rules to allowed absences (IT2001) to be deducted in vacations quota (IT2006):

u2022 The employee can only use 13 days or 26 half days per year;

u2022 The employee can only use 2 days or 4 half days per month;

u2022 These absence days can be deducted from the quota of current civil year or from the quota of next civil year;

u2022 The employees are allowed to this benefit after the second worked year;

u2022 The absence days can only be registered as complete days or half days.

Questions:

1) How can I specify a selection criteria for thoses kind of absences (IT2001)?

2) How can I specify a selection criteria for deduct the quota from this civil year quota (criteria A) or next civil year (criteria B)?

3) How to deduct an absence that occurs in this year from the next year vacation quota?

Best regards,

Arlon.

he system shall consider the following public sector rules to allowed absences (IT2001) to be deducted in vacations quota (IT2006): Just make it within entitlement of the vacations quota

u2022 The employee can only use 13 days or 26 half days per year; Set Maximum in deduction rules

u2022 The employee can only use 2 days or 4 half days per month; Same as above

u2022 These absence days can be deducted from the quota of current civil year or from the quota of next civil year; Set to allow negative deduction

u2022 The employees are allowed to this benefit after the second worked year; put in the seniority in one of your rules as 2year to 999 and create a different rule for 0 to 2years

u2022 The absence days can only be registered as complete days or half days. Mark the half day and full day

You can do all this in Table V_T559L thru SM31

And how can I do that? I'm a newbie at time management.

> u2022 The employee can only use 2 days or 4 half days per month; Same as above

Hmmm. But if I do that, will the employee be able to take the full vacation when the deduction period starts? Because these absences will be deducted from the vacation quota (which by itself, has the deduction rules as I understand) but will not be treated as vacation days.

>u2022 These absence days can be deducted from the quota of current civil year or from the quota of next civil year; Set to allow negative deduction

Hmmm. But can the employee deduct some days from - let's say - 2011 year quota without interfering in this year (2010) quota?

Ok

> u2022 The absence days can only be registered as complete days or half days. Mark the half day and full day

Ok

Hi Arlon

Since you mention they are legal changes, there should be HR Support Packs that deal with these enhancements you are talking about. Please check on service.sap.com for the country which you are talking about.
