About enhancements of SAP FICO

Will you please share some useful enhancement for FICO or AA, which can be implemented easily and having impact on reporting or on system??

Hi

FI, CO and AA enhancement is in the IMG setting(T-code: SPRO)

In the IMG menu

1. FI path: In following paths, You can find User Exit, Badi, BTE enhancement

1) Financial Accounting(New)-> Financial Accounting Basic Settings(New)->Tool->Customer Enhancements

2) Financial Accounting(New)-> General Ledger Accounting(New)->Tools->Customer Enhancemets

2. AA path:

1) Financial Accounting(New)-> Asset Accounting-> Depreciation-> Valuation Methods-> Enhancements

2) Financial Accounting(New)-> Asset Accounting-> Transactions-> Enhancemts

3) Financial Accounting(New)-> Information System-> Transactions-> Enhancemts

3. CO Path:

1) Controlling-> Profitability Analysis -> Tools-> SAP Enhancements

2) Controlling-> Prifit Center Accounting-> Tools -> Customer Enhancements

And In the T-Code: SMON, CMON, You can find User-Exit enhancemets

                T-Code: SE18, SE19, You can find the Badi Definition and implementation

Hi I think this SCN website has a lot of information about enhancements..Badi, CMOD, SMOD, BTC...

You can search for enhancements with keyward Badi, CMOD, SMOD, BTC

Hi,

There are lot of enhancements being done based on the business requirement.

Few are here for example:

1.MR11 does not contain important fields like movement type, document type and FI Document number which are critical data for Finance. As fields can not be directly added to SAP standard report, new enhancement is required to develop a report which is similar to MR11 and add Document type, Movement type and FI Document number.

2.A program to be used for switching off the open item management by changing the Master Record.
