Hi all,

Ecc 5.0 on words introduced badi.

What is the use of badi ?

give me one eg,like badi was there in P.O ,MIGO ect..

Is there any difference b/w userexit's and badi's???

HI ,

BADI is called a Basiness Add Ins....

There basically required for enhancement purpose....

What we can achive with user_exits , we can achive the same thing from BAdi also ...but there are additional functionality which can be done through BAdi only....

Hi

BADI's are like user exits, if you are familiar.

For example, if you want to check that users can use only 3-4 cost centers in 201 movement type, then you can introduce a check by implementing MB_DOCUMENT_BADI.

You can also default/correct the field values by using appropriate BADI in a transaction (MIGO or PO etc).

For example

Populate EVERS [ Shipping Point ] at the time of purchase order ceration. Shipping point should be derivated from the shipping point on sales order [ if PO created from in reference to a sales order ].
