Hi SAP gurus. My client has an issue in their AA SAP ECC 6.0 instance . AA Transaction types 800, 820, 897, 892 were defined for revaluation (AO84) but not mapped to an asset history sheet group. However even wihtout being assigned to Asset History sheet group the transactions can be seen in Asset History sheet S_ALR_87011990 version 0006. raised OSS note to sAP about it but was told it was a consulting issue. Grateful it works but would like to understand why as I though all AA ttypes needed to be assigned to An asset history sheet group to appear in any asset History sheet at all! I can see this in all our clients. .
Hi Nina ,
in which column can you see this transaction types.

Hi Nina,
This is conform to our test system.
As a hint please read note 209745 which explains how to change the history sheet version.
The fields related to revaluation are the ones under -App- section in OA79. (You can check it by F1 on the fields).
you must tick the box for revaluations under transactions or depreciations for the corresponding history sheet group in the detail maintenance.
For instance:
APC revaluation for retirements will be shown at the Asset History Sheet if you select "Trn" (under -App- section) for history sheet group 20.
Ord.dep.reval. revaluation for retirements will be shown at the Asset History Sheet if you select "Ord" (under -App- section) for history sheet group 20.
Please check in OA79 the version 0006:
In the detail screen
20 Retirement
under APP
Trn = X and Ord = X.

Hi Bernhard
this is quite helpful-many thanks. What I u201Cgetu201D from this is that for revaluation transaction types you donu2019t have to assign them to Asset history sheet groups within AO84 because they are u201Cappendedu201D to the u201Cmainu201D sheet.-if I have understood you correctly. If not-apologies!
Our AHS version 0006 col 45 line 2 has under "reval repl val" double click:, asset history sheet group YY annual values under the -App- column has the "X" for the Trn column
Our AHS version 0006 under Col 20 , line 2 history sheet item "retirement"double click. Under the u2013app- column section u201Ctrn u201C and u201Cordu201D are BLANK (ie transaction is not yet allocated to Asset history sheet item)
does the fact that u201Ctrnu201D is blank meant that if we revalue the APC of an asset and then later retire it our asset history sheet version 0006 (for which I donu2019t know if we kept to SAP standard or not!) would not show the total reduction in cost (original APC and revaluation) but only the retirement of the original cost?
I donu2019t think I need to worry about u201Cordu201D because we donu2019t revalue accumulated depreciation within our accounting standards here, only APC
Welcome your expert guidance.
many many thanks
Nina
