SAP S/4HANA Cloud has received many user experience (UX) enhancements over the past couple of years. The focus has been on improving user productivity, overall usability, and increasing the efficiency of developers who build custom apps. This blog post will summarize where we are, where we are going, and how you can influence our future user experience and how it helps you get your work done faster.
If you follow User Experience in the SAP Community, you have seen our recent announcements about:
Our newest innovations are the new
My Home for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, to surface apps and draw attention to tasks that require manual intervention, and the
Collaborative ERP, which we jointly developed with Microsoft. The Share with Microsoft Teams functionality allows users to work together on complex tasks without switching context. It uses Microsoft’s Adaptive Card-based Loop components, which makes apps based on SAP Fiori elements in SAP S/4HANA Cloud accessible through Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
We now have a sneak preview of how we are using artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline data entry. Instead of creating advanced logic on your own, you can leverage SAP BTP artificial intelligence services to learn from previous user inputs and make suggestions to eliminate repetitive entry tasks. Co-Chief Product Owners and VPs of Engineering for SAP UX Engineering, Katja Zoch and Sebastian Steinhauer, show the AI preview, along with all these innovations in a
4-minute video.
You can use SAP BTP artificial intelligence services to make suggestions that make your employees faster at entering data into their SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
If this excites you, we welcome your feedback on:
- What will make your business users more productive in their daily work?
- How do you see AI streamlining your core business processes?
- What tools do you need to build apps more quickly?
