Building on the success of the partner enablement program 10Steps2S/4, in a matter of weeks 10Steps2S/4 for PCE was put together, built, tested, and ran with first partners in March.

The background:

Q1 2021 was a momentous time for both SAP and the Partner community. January 27 saw the introduction of RISE with SAP, and the new SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition (PCE in short) deployment option was announced.

The announcements generated a lot of buzz in the market and were welcomed as groundbreaking. SAP’s strong commitment to a cloud strategy and to an all-cloud future were seen as a significant move. The benefits for both partners and customers in conquering market share were transparent, and ready to be reaped.

The target was clear. What partners needed guidance with, was the trajectory that would land customers adopting RISE with SAP in the Private Cloud.

The 10Steps2S/4 enablement program:

At the time, conversion wrinkles were being ironed out by the hugely successful 10Steps2S/4 enablement. A program that has been running since 2017, where over the course of 10 days a partner gets to perform a true-to-life conversion of an ECC system to SAP S/4HANA. We enabled close to 500 partners globally and more than 2,800 consultants (with appropriate hands-on experience) to go out into the market and offer our installed base customers a tried and tested approach for conversion of their existing SAP ECC systems.

Skilling up the delivery team even further:

Building on the success of 10Steps2S/4, in a matter of weeks the offshoot 10Steps2S/4 for PCE was put together, built, tested, and ran with the first partners in March.

The training is meant as a “delta” program to address the differences and specificities of a conversion or a migration to SAP S/4HANA with the private cloud as target environment - as an addition to the “regular” 10Steps2S/4 program, where the target environment is assumed to be on-premise.

Participation came in droves, enabling close to 150 partners globally and more than 1,200 consultants, for a “sold-out” series of 12 events in 2021, across three macro-regions, each installment building on the feedback and suggestions of enthusiastic partners.

New dates for both enablement programs keep being added throughout the regions. Please follow this link to check the already scheduled ones and to find upcoming sessions that fit your planning.

Our partner’s voices:

Read what participating partners say about the programs:

“The most positive aspect is learning by doing in combination with the theory. This all during a fixed timeframe with a complete project team.”

Partner from the Netherlands

“Most positive aspect: get hands-on experience with SAP systems and do quite a lot of different activities by yourself. In general, I would definitely recommend this training to all SAP customers or partners aiming for an SAP S/4HANA conversion.”

Partner from Italy

“Very interesting new training format, allowing for teamwork and a very realistic "project simulation".  I have never seen something like this before.”

Partner from Germany

“We can really recommend this course (feedback from all our participants)! This is the 4th time we have joined, and we have seen new content every time. Thanks for this, it is a good overall training to get an overview of the SAP standard conversion activities when going to SAP S/4HANA.”
