It is fairly common that a document, such as Sales Order or A/R invoice, would have history, attachments and references. While the first two are pretty straight forward, the latter can be quite challenging. In order to allow you to achieve comprehensive documentation of your business processes, SAP Business One introduces a new functionality that allows you to reference the relevant documents to a given document. You can create references to existing documents in SAP Business One and add valuable information related to external documents.
In order to increase transparency and provide the big picture at a glance, the relationship map is enhanced to reflect the referenced documents added to a given document. A dedicated view of the relationship map displays the referenced documents in the context of the overall process.
Available since SAP Business One 9.2, version for SAP HANA and SAP Business One 9.2.
