Latest Update 28 September 2021: You can find our first explanation of the new UX content in SAP Activate – Introducing UX Value Goals for your UX adoption roadmap

This blog post is applicable to SAP Activate Methodology for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. Similar options may be extended to other roadmaps in future.

So you want to include some SAP Fiori in your SAP S/4HANA project.  As a project manager or project team member you want to identify the tasks involved and all the accelerators that will help you. Good news! You can now find a new option in SAP Activate to assist you – the User Experience tag.

The User Experience tag is now available in the roadmap SAP Activate Methodology for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. It may be extended to other roadmaps in future.

Here’s how it works.

Open your favorite SAP Activate roadmap as usual. For example, by selecting your favorite roadmap on your SAP Activate homepage.

In the Content and Accelerators tabs of your roadmap, you can see all the filters in the left-hand pane.   Scroll down to the More section, below the list of workstreams.

Within SAP Activate roadmap on the Content tab, the User Experience tag shows as a checkbox in the More section

Simply select the checkbox in front of the User Experience tag to quickly filter the related tasks and accelerators.

But wait! There's more coming!

So you have looked through the task content and accelerators tagged with User Experience, and you wonder if that's all you need.

Surely there should be more tasks and accelerators for such an important part of SAP S/4HANA. After all:

SAP Fiori User Experience is where business users access SAP S/4HANA innovations.

So yes, there's more assistance coming soon on how to adopt new User Experience and the related S/4HANAA innovations.

Over the next few weeks, you can look forward to more User Experience content being added to the roadmap such as:

  • App selection guides

  • Guides to help you evaluate SAP Fiori apps for fit

  • Workshops you can run to discuss UX expectations and refine your UX roadmap

  • In-app extension feature map

  • Best practice check lists

  • And many more...

Stay tuned for my next blog on the latest changes in SAP Activate!
