This blog post is part of a series called “Tip of the Week”. In this week’s tip we’ll review the Relationship Map feature.
It doesn’t really matter if you work in a paperless office or you are a big fan of hard copies - at the end of the day, business activity is recorded in documents and transactions. Sometimes, you are looking for a specific invoice or order - need to check a remark or certain detail, and sometimes the given document is not enough and you need to look at the big picture.
The Relationship Map in SAP Business One provides document context in multiple levels:
You can switch views between document tree, posting details, related items, referenced documents, related blanket agreements, and pick lists. Each view reflects the respective relationship map, providing you the big picture for the given document.
Your selections in the menu are recorded, and you can browse through by using the "Go Back" and "Go Forward" buttons. The relationship map is available from within the context menu and in the "Go To" menu.
Available in SAP Business One and SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA.
