Previously, G/L account determination was performed at several levels, providing users with a limited degree of flexibility. As of SAP Business One 9.0, you can enable the advanced G/L account determination solution which provides a centralized matrix to determine rules for assigning G/L accounts in journal entries. The solution is activated through: Administration > System Initialization > Company Details > Basic Initialization tab:
Once activated, you can define the suitable rules for any tailored business scenario. The rules are defined in a dedicated window:
In addition, you can migrate the rules used in the previous setup.
The solution can be activated or deactivated at any time, in a new or existing company.
