“Demand-driven Production Scheduling” was just finished by the team. We would like to share the highlights of the project here with you:
Project goal
The goal of this project was to identify and validate use cases around production scheduling in a demand driven planning environment within SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Key achievements
During this project, the participants confirmed that pacemaker or bottleneck resource scheduling met most of their requirements. Based on this fact, the Schedule Production App was designed. The mockups of this App were showcased to the participants and further use cases were collected.
Shipment
Shipment of the Schedule Production App for Production Planners in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1902 and 1905 releases was heavily influenced by the activities undertaken in this project.
