I had an opportunity to take a session on “Concept of Value Chains and one use case of Advanced Intercompany Sale” at SAP Inside Track Hyderabad 2023
The day started with keynotes by Sindhu Gangadharan and Vasavi Rongali. The key note stressed on the event objective of shared learning in an event for the Community by the Community.
My session focused on End to End Intercompany processes and how we are innovating to fill gaps in existing End to End Logistics processes to record material and activity flows, which in turn provides clear visibility into value flows across the entire chain and thereby the concept of Value Chain Analysis. There was also a future direction on embedding carbon equivalents across the value chain, posting example, where we eliminate the Intercompany Sales and Intercompany Cost of Goods Sold on real time with every operational document. This provides an opportunity to speed up the closing processes for a Group Accountant.
There was quite a bit of valuable feedback from the audience which I as a Product Manager would look forward to anytime.
I look to many more such events in the future and hope to connect with fellow community members.
