Managing inventory in multiple warehouses can be quite challenging – monitoring the levels of inventory in each warehouse, making sure that the distribution of goods across the various warehouses is the most efficient, and so on. Yes, there are reports that can show you this information, but these reports can be even more valuable, if you define locations:
Once your list of locations is set, you can assign each warehouse to the relevant location (in the Warehouse – Setup window) . When generating inventory related reports, such as Inventory Status, Inventory in Warehouse, etc. you can use the locations as selection criteria and display the results according to locations.
