Shipped on August 5, 2019 this latest release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud delivers lots of new features and improvements that support the intelligent enterprise.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1908 brings our customers several new and enhanced features that use intelligent technologies. If we look more closely at Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (Intelligent RPA), we can see that it is a strategic area for SAP S/4HANA Cloud as it is a powerful technology that allows us to embed intelligence and automation into end-to-end processes in a scalable way. One example of this in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1908 is the intelligent approval workflow for purchase requisitions. We will continue to add more Intelligent RPA use cases with each cloud release.
This release also builds on end-to-end business processes in Finance, Procurement, and HR and I am excited to announce the release of US Funds Accounting and Budget Management for Public Sector organizations in the US. This will help government organizations drive rapid finance transformation as well as achieve better monitoring of their business and reduce organizational risk.
What’s more, SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1908 also includes added value for our customers by including availability in two new countries (Czechia and Thailand) which brings the total number of country versions to 42. With the addition of Czech and Thai as available languages, the total number of languages has now increased to 24. For Service Management, we have added three new countries: France, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
