This blog post is part of a series called “Tip of the Week”. In this week's tip, I’m sharing with you how our daily work habits can be reflected on the web client's home page.
People are creatures of habits and routines, this is true especially at work where each employee has their own responsibilities and tasks. When working with the Web client for SAP Business One, you can save the frequently-used views, searches, and reports as tiles on your home page. The tile serves as a shortcut, saving you time and actions. For example a sales manager created a view showing all open invoices grouped by sales employee. She looks at this view at least once a day:
Clicking the "Share" icon and the "Save as Tile" option, opens this dialog where you can enter title and subtitle (is needed) for the tile and position in the relevant group on your home page:
Once done, the tile appears on your home page as a shortcut to the data you need:
Available in the Web client for SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA PL00 and Web client for SAP Business One 10.0 PL01 for MS SQL users.
