You might find it difficult to troubleshoot the "Permission Denied" error in Business one mobile app although the notes 1602674 and 1924930 have been reviewed.
In this blog post I would like to share with you how to debug this kind of issue.
Step 1: Enable debug log
Set System profile to
Development System
Select
Switch on Full Debugging
Restart B1i service to make it effect
Step 2: Check Authentication Monitor
Authentication Monitor displays authentication attempts for scenario packages that use a user-defined authentication for incoming HTTP calls. It can capture each logon information for mobile app.
If logon is successful, you will see below output.
If logon is failed, you need to click
Login Info or
Authentication Info button to review the detail information.
The login info displays detail login information, such as phone number, device ID, the company database, user ID, and so on.
The authentication info displays the result of the authentication and a message describing the result.
Step 3: Check Debug Information
If you want to know more about IPO logs and errors, click Debug button > IPO Log as below.
Note:
Remember to roll back the debug setting after investigation in case any huge logs will be generated.
