Welcome to the exciting world of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition! As a customer or partner, you know that the Cloud world offers unique challenges that we are all learning to navigate together. But don't worry - SAP is here to guide you every step of the way.

SAP has launch ‘Embedded Launch Activities’(EmLA) under a renewed customer engagement model that strives for continuity of an outcome based relationship, with focus on faster adoption of leading practices and value realization for our customers. EmLA is a product entitlement that comes with new GROW with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition subscriptions at no additional cost, on contract signature after 21st of January 2024. 


We have two 1:1 Welcome Calls with every customer to welcome the customer, start with provisioning steps, user creation and explain their entitlements which are included in their subscription. The Welcome Calls and the Onboarding Journey supports the provisioning steps and guide the customer to have a flawless experience for a successful implementation. As part of the Onboarding Journey, we position assets relevant to the customer implementation phase aligned with the SAP Activate methodology.

Under Guided Enablement we offer roles specific learning programs to our customers. The learning programs are self-paced and provide a framework of recorded enablement sessions on business process leading practices, solution architecture and other strategic topics.

Finally, the adoption touchpoint we offer a remote service after go-live which helps customers to review system usage and identify opportunities to adapt and improve their business processes within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Please review the Infosheet for further information.


Within the Onboarding Journey we start with the 1:1 calls to initiate our customer engagement as part of the first touchpoint which is ‘Welcome and Introduction’. We invite you to register for our 1:M webinars to continue your Onboarding Journey. Each webinar is specifically tailored to help you get started and succeed in your implementation. Our goal is to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and guidance you need to make the most out of your SAP solution.

Touchpoint 1 – Welcome and Introduction
As discussed above this touchpoint encompass the first two 1:1 Welcome Calls to kickstart the engagement.

Touchpoint 2 – Project Readiness
With this second touchpoint, we'll equip you with the knowledge you need to run your project successfully. We'll start with an overview of the SAP Activate methodology as the project methodology for SAP implementations. We'll cover which key tools are available to support your implementation and provide instructions on how to use them. We'll explain tools like SAP Central Business Configuration, SAP Best Practices, SAP Fiori Library, and more. Finally, we'll introduce the value maps to offer tailored guidance in relevant Enterprise Support assets.

Touchpoint 3 – Project Guidance
In the third touchpoint, we'll explain the process to carry out a fit-to-standard analysis of your solution to develop a detailed plan for your workstreams. We'll introduce you to the main elements of the Explore phase, so you know what the first steps are!

Touchpoint 4 – Project Progress
In the fourth touchpoint, we'll cover the key activities you'll need to execute in your project, such as solution configuration, testing, and cutover preparation. We'll also show you the tools and resources available to make your workload lighter. This part of the Onboarding Journey corresponds to the "Realize" phase of the Activate methodology.

Touchpoint 5 – Go-Live Preparation
In the final touchpoint, we'll discuss key cutover activities and lay the foundation for successful adoption post Go-Live. We'll cover topics such as upgrades, release strategy, innovation with SAP and more.
