In close cooperation with SAP Partner Computerworld Norway the Global Partner Enablement team at SAP a new approach was ideated: Using ERPSim as Business Gamification to encourage existing and new customers to move to SAP S/4HANA.
Nine teams from Norwegian customers and partners were competing against each other to become Norwegian champions in E-Sport for Business using the ERPSim simulation game. An expert panel, composed by two SAP experts and two externals, sitting in a studio and using a virtual event platform, commented on the competition in a two hours live streaming.
The competing teams joined via Zoom, while the expert panel played the perfect Champions League role introducing the team, commenting on the competition and showcasing the key concepts. We have no doubt they created a commercial value for the audience to follow the competition online.
It was worth participating, but even more, winning. The winning team from SAP partner
EY Skye, was awarded with several very useful prices sponsored by Computerworld.
