This blog will provide you information on how to perform follow up activities and determine refund for Customer return documents with Sales Kit.

Follow up activity allows you to perform the next set of steps in the logical processing of your returns. This activity would also lead to the creation of relevant documents in the background. While processing sales kit in return documents, follow up activity and its corresponding fields can be maintained at the header level only. This would be automatically transferred to sales kit components on saving.



 

In case the follow up activity is ‘Product remains at Customer Site’, inspection comments can be provided for each of its sub-items uniquely.



Once the return document with sales kit has been inspected, the returns and refund clerk can determine refund using Manage Customer Returns app. While processing returns document with ERLA material, sales kit header is applied to the follow up documents. The sales kit is not exploded in the generated follow up document.



 

In case of LUMF material, refund can be determined at the sales kit component level. It is acts as independent materials in the generated follow up documents. In this case, the sales kit header becomes irrelevant for refund and is not included in the follow up documents.
