Every once in a while it happens. You need to generate this monthly report, retrieve a document that you don’t handle on a regular basis, or you just got promoted and received new tasks but have no idea where to find these functions…
Sometimes we try to sharpen a vague memory and restore the lost menu path, or start navigating through the Main Menu hoping to find what we need in very few clicks, or? SAP Business One releases you from the need to memorize menu path, keeping post-its with the path to key functions, etc. You can simply search for the function you need and the relevant entries will be immediately proposed to you:
If you are using SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, just type the entry you are looking for in the search box at the top of the Main Menu. The relevant results are displayed with the search value highlighted.
If you are using the SQL version, or you are using SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA but haven’t activated the Fiori Style Cockpit, set the search box on the right to “Search Menus”:
Now, start typing the function you are looking for. The list of relevant menu entries is displayed, and you just have to choose your function:
