Introduction:

Determining the Tax Jurisdiction is one of the critical topic for all the Address entities in SAP.

Based on the Standard SAP Procedure, TAX Jurisdiction values are calculated.

Below we can see how the values is calculated for eternal system.

The FM RFC_DETERMINE_JURISDICTION helps to determine Tax Jurisdiction values.

Follow the steps below to execute the FM.

1.Run the Tcode SE37.

2.Give the FM name as FM RFC_DETERMINE_JURISDICTION and click on Execute.



3.Double click on LOCATION DATA located under Import parameters. A pop up window should appear

For entering Test data.

Hint choose Single entry or Shift F7 to facilitate test data.

Once the Test data is provided.Click on OK.



Click on BACK icon.



Click on Execute. The result would be obtained.



Click the Results obtained.



The Tax Jurisdiction Code is obtained.



 

Conclusion:

In this way the Tax Jurisdiction value can be obtained.

The values can be unique entry or the table of entries which is called as Multiple tax jurisdiction.

 

NOTE: The TAX Jurisdiction code obtained will be based on Vertex Setting maintained.
