Are you a SAP Business ByDesign user? Does your company have a specific business need and you would like to develop an application to solve the challenge? Would you like to learn how to develop an application on SAP Cloud Applications Studio?
If you have answered yes to at least one of the questions above, you might have been one of the 4,000 students enrolled in the openSAP course Application Development for SAP Business ByDesign.
The course started on June 3 and ended on July 22. Application developers, our main target group, had the chance to gain first-hand experience on how to develop an application for SAP Business ByDesign, SAP’s fully integrated ERP Cloud solution for small and medium enterprises.
Throughout six weeks, our students were able to reproduce the development steps shown in the lectures and work on some additional exercises, thanks to the image of the SAP Cloud Applications Studio hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
By completing the exercises in the cloud, our learners had a double benefit; not only learned how to create an application for SAP Business ByDesign, but they also became familiar with the SAP Cloud Applications Studio development environment.
Additional exercises require some additional effort, but it was certainly worth completing the course:
Questions regarding the course and challenging steps in the exercises were widely discussed in the online forum. With over 390 posts, we had a very engaged group of learners.
About 93% of the students enrolled were professionals. Many of them shared positive feedback on how the course has helped them to work on their projects:
I wish that this course had been available at the start of our project 😉*
Our learners came from over 85 countries. Top 5 countries are in the map below:
The course material is available online in self-paced mode. There you can access all videos and self-tests.
The openSAP team never rests and is working on preparing lots of new courses for this fall! Don't miss out and keep up to date with us on Twitter and Facebook.
