Project Quotation – ECP planning with WBs and Network activities

Sales Pricing /  Quotation for Project can be created with reference to Easy cost planning done against WBS element and Network Activities.

There are 2 ways to create Sale Pricing / Quotation for Project

1. DP82       -              Sale Pricing for Project


2. CJ20N     -              Project Builder

         

Issue Statement

While generation Sales Pricing / Quotation through DP82 Sale Pricing for Project

• System is considering plan cost from Easy cost planning at WBS and Network activity level

While generation Sales Pricing / Quotation through CJ20N Project Builder

• System is considering plan cost from Easy cost planning only from WBS level and cost planned against Network activities is ignored.

As prerequisites to do Easy cost planning at Network activity level following mentioned configuration is in place

1. To use Easy Cost Planning for network activities, you carry out the activity Activate Planning for Network Activities with Easy Cost Planningin the Implementation Guide for the Project System.

Project System > Costs > Planned Costs > Easy Cost Planning and Execution Services > Easy Cost Planning > Activate Planning for Network Activities with Easy Cost Planning

Note : Once you have set this indicator, you should not remove it. 

2. Configured DIP profile with usage 11 Quotation Creation & Sales Pricing

3. DIP profile is assigned either to Project Profile or maintained in Project Definition Control Tab sales Pricing section.

Solution :

To address this issue recently SAP has released note 3363265 version 3.

After implementing this note system will create Sales Pricing / Quotation for Project by considering planned cost through Easy cost planning at WBS and Network activity level both from CJ20N Project Builder
