Since 2013, openSAP has been providing free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to everyone interested in learning about SAP’s latest innovations and how to survive in the digital economy. With technology rapidly changing, new flexible learning methods are required to deliver knowledge and information faster. openSAP has successfully helped to enable the SAP ecosystem to upskill from anywhere in the world, at a time that suits the learners’ schedule.
Since launching MOOCs on openSAP, we’ve added two new learning formats – openSAP Podcasts and openSAP Microlearning – to our platform to keep up with the growing demands of our learners.
MOOCs: openSAP Enterprise MOOCs leverage tried and trusted classroom concepts, including gamification, and discussion forums to interact with peers and experts, in an online delivery format.
All our courses are offered free of charge (except for optional system access).
The openSAP platform is developed and provided by SAP in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI).
I was enrolled in Open SAP in the year 2015 and initially did not spend more time to focus on learning new technologies due to busy work schedules with project deliverables.
I started the first-course enrollment and completed weekly assignments on time and earned record of achievement. I was motivated by my self and allocated some time based on new course enrolments and exiting course assignments on a weekly basis.
