Loading material master sales text by LSMW with Direct Input

 

 

In one SAP project, I need to load material master data ‘Sales Text’ view according to the requirement of business team.

 

So I prepared a LSMW tool in order to support the data loading. Below is the description of the key steps of this LSMW tool.

 

1,Maintian Object Attributes

 

Object Type and Import Method: select ‘Standard Batch/Direct Input’.

 

Object:0020

Method:0000

Program name:RMDATIND

 

2, Maintain Source Structures.

 

3,Maintain Source fields

 

 

4, Maintain Structure Relations

Remember that we need to specify a source structure for the structure BMMH7.

 

5, Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules

 

 

The tcode is MM01.

 

 

 

In the structure BMMH7, have below field mapping,

It is very important for the mapping of the field TDID, should be fixed value ‘0001’, it is for the sales text of material master data.

 

 

6,Then specify the data file, read data and convert data, create session for the data loading. The Sales Text view was updated.
