Hi,

Has anyone used grunt for JS/CSS compression in hybris? If so please share how we can achieve it.

We are on hybris 5.5.1

If not grunt anyway to compress JS/CSS at compile time and integrate with ANT. Granule has issues in clustered set up and using CDN or varnish.

Hello,

When you check the Gruntfile.js file in the storefront folder you will see some tasks to :

  • Compile LESS files to CSS files (not in a single single)

  • Copy JS and fonts files added or edited in the _ui-src folders to the ui folders And that's all.

If you want to use Grunt to compile : you can, but you must edit yourself the Gruntfile.js file (and other files likes package.json but it could be crash your build if you don't do it well).

Thanks for the reply.

However, I did not understand what changes we need to make in Gruntfile.js as I am not very familiar with it.

Also how does it integrate with build.
