I was wondering if it was possible to create a trigger based campaign without creating the contact data, facets, …
I want to avoid creating those for a specific interaction type.
I tried to use the functionality of Anonymous id_origin but it doesn’t seem to help me doing it.
By testing the function module CUAN_CE_INTERACTIONS_POST_FLAT
And filled the fields:
COMM_MEDIUM : ZDMW
IA_TYPE : ZBACK_IN_STOCK
TIMESTAMP: 20.171.030.110.250,0000000
IS_ANONYMOUS : X
SMTP_ADDR: cdurieux@distriplus.be
EMAIL_OPTIN : Y
My interaction is created but without SMTP_ADDR and without EMAIL_OPTIN (became blanco due to anonymous I suppose)
I have no new contact and no new facet but also no email sent …
Do I need to create all those contacts and facets and cleaned them? Is that the only way?
Did anyone experience that?
PS: I am on the on-prem version 1702

Hi Catherine,
The setting "Incognito" has the implication that no contact is created with this origin and also interactions with this origin do not get assigned to a contact.
If you don't have the entity contact in the whole process, how do you want to create a target group and subsequently trigger a campaign for this target group?!
I don't think this is possible in standard.

I checked with the expert. This is not really feasible. What's the use case/ process behind this requirement?
The only way is to create the contacts and delete them right after usage. But again, what's the use case?

Thanks for your answer.
The requirement is as follow:
On the eshop, we want to display all the materials included the materials that we don't have in stock right now.
The contact (logged or not and that's the 'not' that I want to avoid to create because from the logged I will be able to match my golden record into Hybris Marketing) can click on a button to receive from Hybris Marketing an email when the material is back in stock.
The Z 'back in stock' interaction type would be the trigger to be able to send the email.
But if the match doesn't happen, Hybris marketing created automatically a new contact in my contact root which is what I don't to avoid.
