Hi,
can I add an existing MUP file in a new MUP file so that I only send out one MUP file to the MSA clients instead of a lot seperates one?
We are running CRM 5.0 SP7.
Thanks for your help.
Regards.
Jens

Hello Jens,
maybe this would help:
- unpack the second MUP wiht sapcar -xvf <file.mup>
- unpack the contained sar
- check for the files contained and the actions to be performed in the contained reg-files
- Create new units that contain these tasks/files
- Add the unit to the existing definition
- Create a new mup file
BTW:
That´s good style - never leave the customer after the go-live with
n+1 mup´s that he needs to apply if setting up new clients.
Always create a single MUP that runs after the basic installation
and contains all fixes / developments.
Best Regards
Thomas
Hi Jens,
The functionality of Mobile Upgrade Package doesnt support the requirement you are looking for. A mup can only take commands, files and folders. It is not possible to include mup's into a mup file.
